In this video series, Nathalie D’Hers, Corporate VP of Microsoft Digital, starts the conversation about the challenges existing for women in the tech industry. She interviews fellow female leaders to identify the actionable steps for the next generation of women to succeed in the field.
Nathalie and her guests discuss their career journeys and use their barriers to success as jumping off points to teach others how to better navigate the landscape. Their conversations are backed by data and fueled by a passion for progress. The series branding was designed with their stories in mind, visually showing the journey towards progress through a fluidly changing color palette from one episode to the next.
The series’ intro animation symbolizes women carving out their own paths, until they meet to start the conversation. GFX throughout the videos blend the colors together to show the change that comes through sharing different perspectives.
Each episode catalyzed women to speak up and start taking action in their own careers. We hope to continue charging forward in the fight for women’s equity.
The topic of “women in tech” isn’t new. Our strategists had to find the white space in the conversation and fill it with authenticity. Nathalie D’Hers is known for her dedication to DEI and her guests had to be as invested as she is to provide enough fodder for a real dialogue.
Not all content needs to be bite-sized. We’re in an epidemic of 15-second attention spans and an urge to scroll, but is that what every audience wants? Our team took a risk with ~20-minute episodes to preserve the meat and potatoes of these women’s stories. We chose to prioritize value over snackability.
